About Us

Vince and Laurita Berland have been raising cattle for many years. We have learned how to properly care for our heifers and bulls, allowing them to provide meat of the highest quality. As livestock producers, we plan to breed around 20 yearling heifers & bulls per year from the top donors available. These cattle will then be sold as seed stock for new breeders in the Wagyu business.

Embryos From Top Polled & Fullblood Donor Cows

We provide quality embryos from polled cows that have superior Wagyu genetics. To ensure quality, we only take embryos from healthy and active heifers.

You can artificially inseminate your heifer using semen from our Wagyu bulls. If needed, we also have female-sexed semen.

Health Benefits

The latest research results from Pennsylvania State University were published December 2011, in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Researchers concluded that eating monounsaturated fatty acids are better for your heart than eating special diets with lean products. The research also shows that Wagyu meat can actually help to reduce cholesterol levels.

Wagyu beef has a type of fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). CLA is shown to have potent anti-carcinogenic properties, as well as being an anti-inflammatory agent. Wagyu cattle contain the highest amount of CLA per gram of any foodstuff – about 30% more than other beef breeds, due to higher linoleic acid levels.
